This day long program provides young girls the opportunity to see, touch and experience several aspects of the fire service profession. It is designed to navigate real or perceived challenges that women face in the fire service. Not only can this program build confidence levels from stepping out of a comfort zone, it also may spark interest as a possible career path later in life. This camp has both physical and classroom components to give a broad introduction to the profession including a firehouse tour, learning basic first aid and CPR, completing hands on firefighting tasks and flowing water through a fire hose.
